An Overview of Boda Smide’s Metalworks

The legendary glass designer Erik Höglund started working with the smith Axel Strömgren in the late 1950s. The cooperation led to the start of Boda Smide (Boda Smithery) in 1962 in the south of Sweden. The company manufactured metal artworks, often made of hand-forged iron with decorative glass details. Their expression was rustic and folksy.
