Mari Simmulson (1911–2000) designed many classics for the Swedish Upsala-Ekeby company in the 1950s to 1970s. One of the most well-known series is Trinidad from 1958. It consists of 14 earthenware bowls and vases. They have light green glazes, rough textures, and linear reliefs. The items are deep stamped on the lower side with UE, model number, and Mari’s mark (MS or Maris). The series was manufactured until 1961. Which of Mari’s Trinidad objects is your favorite?
