Mari Simmulson (1911–2000) designed many classics for the Swedish Upsala-Ekeby company in the 1950s to 1970s. One of the most well-known series is Geting (Wasp) from 1958. It consists of seven earthenware bowls and vases. They have geometric forms and black/white geometric decor. The items are deep stamped on the lower side with UE, model number, and Mari’s mark (MS or Maris). The series was manufactured only in 1958. Which of Mari’s Geting objects is your favorite?
