Monica Backström (1939–2020) designed many classics for the Swedish Kosta Boda glassworks. One of the most well-known series is Serpentine from 2002. It consists of five objects: bowls, dishes, and vases. They are made of clear sandblasted glass and hand-painted colorful linear segments.
