An Overview of Helena Tynell’s Lankkupullo Series
Helena Tynell (1918–2016) designed many classics for the Finnish Riihimäen Lasi glassworks. One of the most appreciated series is Lankkupullo (Plank Bottle) from 1971. It consists of uni-colored vases with with gentle block forms, uni-colored glass, and linear relief decors.
