Ingrid Atterberg (1920–2008) designed many classics for the Swedish Upsala-Ekeby company in the 1940s to 1960s. One of the most well-known series is Västkust (West Coast) from 1943. It consists of eight earthenware bowls and vases. They have swelling forms and white or yellow dots pattern. The items are deep stamped on the lower side with UE, Sweden, Abg, and the model number. The series was manufactured until 1956. Which of Ingrid’s Västkust objects is your favorite?
