An Overview of Bertil Vallien’s Stratos Series
Bertil Vallien (1938–) has designed many classics for the Swedish glassworks in Åfors, Boda, and Kosta. One of the most well-known series is Stratos from 1982. It consists of objects with bubble decors, red rim, and stained glass in blue, gray or white colors. They are handcrafted giving each model quite a variation in appearance and size.
