An Overview of Oiva Toikka’s Fauna Series
Oiva Toikka (1931–2019) has designed many classics for the Finnish glassworks of Nuutajärvi and Iittala. One of the most well-known series is Fauna from 1970. It consists uni-colored utility glass with an animal relief and joyous expression. The series comes in five colors: clear, brown, green, light purple, and turquoise.
