Birger Kaipiainen (1915–1988) designed many classics for the Finnish Arabia company. One of the most appreciated series is Lintu (Bird) from 1966. It consists of four earthenware pitchers with modern forms and stylistic decors. They come in four different colors: turquoise, green, blue, and brown. The models are designed by Kaj Franck.
