Bo Borgström (1929–) designed many classics for the Swedish Åseda glassworks in the 20th century. His joyous and colorful mushrooms from the 1970s became highly sought after among collectors of Nordic glass. They came in four models: three sizes with straight foot, and one size with chubby foot.
The mushroom’s feet were mould-blown, often with clear glass. The tops were free-blown in a vast number of color schemes. The mushrooms aren’t signed but instead marked with an Åseda label. Which of Bo’s mushrooms is your favorite?
