An Overview of Ingrid Atterberg’s Faenza Series

Ingrid Atterberg (1920–2008) designed many classics for the Swedish Upsala-Ekeby company in the 1940s to 1960s. One of the most appreciated series is Faenza from 1960. It consists of seven earthenware bowls and vases. They have sturdy forms and rustic expression.

The Faenza models come with two different decors: blue and brown/green/turquoise. They are deep stamped on the lower side with UE, Sweden, Abg, and the model number. The series was manufactured only in 1960. Which of Ingrid’s Faenza objects is your favorite?
