An overview of Stig Lindberg’s Veckla series
Stig Lindberg designed the ”Veckla” series in 1950 for the Gustavsberg factory. The series consisted of 12 bowls and vases with free-formed shapes and sculptural expressions. They were made of stoneware with matte white Carrara glaze. Sometimes, chromo printed flowers or hand-painted geometric decoration were added. The series was manufactured between 1950 and 1960. In 1992, a larger version of the 243 vase model was crafted in a limited edition of 150 pieces.
