Bertil Vallien (1938–) has designed many classics for the Swedish glassworks in Åfors, Boda, and Kosta. One of the most well-known series is Bagdad from 1975. It consists of objects with with sturdy forms and stained polychrome glass. They are handcrafted giving each model quite a variation in appearance and size.
