An Overview of Raija Uosikkinen’s Ruija Series

Raija Uosikkinen (1923–2004) designed many classics for the Arabia company. One of the most appreciated series is Ruija from 1975. It consists of tableware made of stoneware with sturdy forms and peach-colored glaze. They are hand-decorated with dark green leaves and brownish red berries. The models are designed by Ulla Procopé.
