Ingrid Atterberg (1920–2008) designed many classics for the Swedish Upsala-Ekeby company in the 1940s to 1960s. One of the most well-known series is Plan from 1957. It consists of six earthenware dishes and vases with geometric forms and rough textures. They have uni-colored glazes in black, blue, or yellow color. On the lower side, the objects are deep stamped with UE, Sweden, Abg, and the model number.
The Plan series was manufactured until 1961. It shares models with the Bohus and Randa series. Which of Ingrid’s Plan objects is your favorite?
