An Overview of Anna-Lisa Thomson’s Paprika Series
Anna-Lisa Thomson (1905–1952) designed many classics for the Swedish Upsala-Ekeby company in the 1930s–1950s. One of the most well-known series is Paprika (Bell Pepper) from 1949. It consists of 13 earthenware bowls and vases. They have gently swelling forms, brown clay, and white or green leaf pattern in relief.
