Åke Holm – Ceramics from Höganäs
Åke Holm (1900–1980) was one of Sweden’s leading ceramic artists in the 20th century. After his education and early work years at the Höganäs factory, he started his own studio in the area. Åke became a master of sculpturing and glazing, leading to figurines and wall plaques with rustic and mythological expression. His artistry is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design.
