Mari Simmulson (1911–2000) designed many classics for the Swedish Upsala-Ekeby company in the 1950s to 1970s. One of the most well-known series is Lady from 1969. It consists of five earthenware bowls and vases. They have a robust form, tricolored linear segments, and rough surface.
