An Overview of Ingrid Atterberg’s Fulvia Series

Ingrid Atterberg (1920–2008) designed many classics for the Swedish Upsala-Ekeby company in the 1940s to 1960s. One of the most appreciated series is Fulvia from 1962. It consists of nine earthenware bowls, dishes, and vases. They have sturdy forms, mottled blue/black glaze, and relief decor.

The items are deep stamped on the lower side with UE, Sweden, Abg, and the model number. The series was manufactured until 1963. Which of Ingrid’s Fulvia objects is your favorite?
