Alf Jarnestad – Ceramics from Karlskrona

Alf Jarnestad (1923–2008) was one of Sweden’s leading ceramic artists in the 20th century. After his art studies at ”Konstfack” in Stockholm, he worked for the Karlskrona factory in the 1950s–1960s. Alf was a prominent artist of geometry inspired series, rough vases, and futuristic sculptures. His artistry is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design.
