An Overview of Ingrid Atterberg’s Sacra Series

Ingrid Atterberg (1920–2008) designed many classics for the Swedish Upsala-Ekeby company in the 1940s to 1960s. One of the most well-known series is Sacra from 1962. It consists of earthenware objects: dishes, jars, and vases. They have stylistic leaf relief and glossy glaze in earthy colors. The items are deep stamped on the lower side with UE, Sweden, Abg, and the model number. The series was manufactured until 1964. Which of Ingrid’s Sacra objects is your favorite?
