An Overview of Esteri Tomula’s Botanica Series
Esteri Tomula (1920–1998) designed many classics for the Finnish Arabia company in the 1940s to 1980s. One of the most well-known series is Botanica from 1978. It consists of 55 wall plaques and 19 vases made of earthenware. They have white glaze and colorful motifs of of flowers and berries.
On the lower side, the objects are marked with Esteri Tomula, Arabia, and Finland. Botanica was manufactured until 1989. Which of Esteri’s objects is your favorite?
