Monica Backström (1939–2020) designed many classics for the Swedish Kosta Boda glassworks. One of the most well-known series is Taiga from 2000. It consists of 16 objects: bowls, candleholders, dishes, glasses, pitchers, plates, and vases. They are made of clear glass and hand-painted blue/yellow decors with a mild expression.
The Taiga series was manufactured until 2005. Which of Monica’s objects is your favorite?
