An Overview of Stig Lindberg's Domino series
Stig Lindberg designed the ”Domino” series in 1954 for the Gustavsberg factory and the Helsingborg exhibition in 1955 (H55). The stoneware series consisted of seven vases and six dishes. The objects came with geometric shapes, stylistic relief patterns, and black/white or brown colors. A few of the models also had rare yellow or grayish green colors. Domino, with its era-typical expression, has become a well-known symbol of the Swedish modern era.
