An Overview of Gabi Citron-Tengborg’s Buckla Series

Gabi Citron-Tengborg (1930–2009) designed a few classics during her short tenure at the Gustavsberg company. One of the most appreciated series is Buckla from 1955. It was presented at the legendary H55 exhibition in Helsingborg.

The Buckla series consists of two vases and one bowl. They are made of white stoneware with organic forms and brown graphic decors. The lower sides are often marked with ”Buckla, Gabi” and the model number. Which of her art pieces is your favorite?
