Stig Lindberg designed the ”Piazza” (Italian for square) series in 1960 for the Gustavsberg factory. The series consists of one fruit dish and three small plates. Piazza comes in gently quadratic shapes and surrealistic relief motifs of people and animals. The series was made of flintware with three different colors: black, blue, and turquoise.
