Ingrid Atterberg (1920–2008) designed many classics for the Swedish Upsala-Ekeby company in the 1940s to 1960s. One of the most well-known series is Grafika from 1951. It consists of 14 earthenware objects: bowls, dishes, small plates, and vases. They have gently swelling shapes and hand-painted black/white patterns of plants and geometric elements. The items are deep stamped on the lower side with UE, Sweden, Abg, and the model number. The series was manufactured until 1954. Which of Ingrid’s Grafika objects is your favorite?
