An Overview of Anna-Lisa Thomson’s Spectra Series
Anna-Lisa Thomson (1905–1952) designed many classics for the Swedish Upsala-Ekeby company in the 1930s–1950s. One of the most well-known series is Spectra from 1951. It consists of eight earthenware dishes with brown clay and colorful marine life motifs. The objects are deep stamped on the lower side with UE, model number, and ALT.
