An Overview of Lisa Larson's Lions
This overview presents Lisa's lions from the early Gustavsbergs factory years, to the contemporary Keramikstudion Gustavsberg production. We only present the pottery lions in Swedish serial production. Roar!
Lions from the Africa series. Designed in 1964. They consist of a mini, large and gigantic lion. The heights are 5 cm (2.0 inches), 14 cm (5.5 inches) and 37 cm (14.6 inches) respectively. Produced in the 1960s-80s by the Gustavsberg factory. The mini and gigantic lions are still produced by Keramikstudion Gustavsberg. Legendary art pieces!
Lions from the Noah’s Arc series. Designed in 1978. They consist of a smal couple, large couple, single male lion, and a single female lion. Produced in 1979-84 by the Gustavsberg factory. The widths are between 16 and 43 cm (6.3-16.9 inches). Fantastic felines!
K-studio lion midi. Designed in the 1990s. Still produced by Keramikstudion Gustavsberg. The height is 10 cm (3.9 inches) which is between the mini and large Africa lions from 1964. Charming and chubby!

Mini Zoo (Mini-zoo) lion. Designed in 2010. Still produced by Keramikstudion Gustavsberg. The lion is decorated in brown or blue glaze. The height is 4,5 cm (1.8 inches). This lion can be hold in your palm!
