Stig Lindberg designed the ”Art Plate” series in 1980 for the Gustavsberg factory. The creamware series consisted of two wall plates with gently oval shapes, black backgrounds, and colorful surrealistic motifs. A few more plates were planned, but the series was discontinued during the first year of production.
