An Overview of Kjell Blomberg's" Häppar" (Heps)

Kjell Blomberg (1931–1989) worked as a designer of pottery and glass at several of the leading art factories in Sweden during the 1950-1970s. One of his more well-known creations is the so-called" Häppar" (Heps) that were launched in 1971 at Gullaskruf Glassworks. The eleven mouth-blown figurines were shaped like upside-down bulb vases. The clear glass was hand-painted with stylistic motifs and pop art expressions.
