Anita Nylund designed many classics for the Jie-Keramik company in the south of Sweden. One of the most well-known series is the Jansons Frestelse (Janson’s Temptation) series from the 1950s. It consists of five flintware dishes with colorful motifs of food, people, and fish. They have geometric forms with printed and hand-painted decor. Each model could have more than one motif.
On the lower side, they are often marked with Jie, Gantofta, Sweden, Jansons Frestelse, model number, and Design Anita Nylund. Which of Anita’s dishes is your favorite?
