An Overview of Bertil Vallien’s Talatta Series

Bertil Vallien (1938–) has designed many classics for the Swedish glassworks in Åfors, Boda, and Kosta. One of the most well-known series is Talatta from 1972. It consists of objects with sturdy forms and mottled blue/black glass. They are handcrafted giving each model quite a variation in appearance and size.
