Marianne Westman designed the Mira Mare series in 1971 for the Rörstrand company. The series consisted of tableware parts, ranging from cups and plates – to eggcups and pitchers. They were made of gray stoneware clay with era-typical sturdy forms and blue hand-painted linear decor.
The series was manufactured between 1972 and 1977. On the lower sides, the objects were marked with Rörstrand, Sweden, Mira Mare, and MW. Which of Marianne’s tableware pieces is your favorite?
