Ulrica Hydman-Vallien (1938–2018) has designed many classics for the Swedish glassworks in Åfors, Boda, and Kosta. One of the most well-known series is Blossom from 2001. It consists of art and utility glass: bowls, dishes, bird sculptures, and vases. They were crafted and decorated by hand with clear glass, swelling shapes, and flower patterns in blue or red.
