An Overview of Ingrid Atterberg’s Verona Series

Ingrid Atterberg (1920–2008) designed many classics for the Swedish Upsala-Ekeby company in the 1940s to 1960s. One of the most appreciated series is Verona from 1961. It consists of nine earthenware  candleholders, dishes, and vases. They have modern forms, gray/brown glaze, and rough-textured surface.

The items are deep stamped on the lower side with UE, Sweden, Abg, and the model number. The series was manufactured until 1965. Which of Ingrid’s Verona objects is your favorite?
