An Overview of Marianne Westman’s Mon Amie Series
Marianne Westman designed the ”Mon Amie” series in 1952 for the Rörstrand factory. The set consisted of about 40 tableware parts ranging from dishes and pots – to eggcups and teapots. They were made of flintware with gently rounded shapes and cobalt blue patterns of wild rosemary flowers. Mon Amie, with its era-typical expression, was crafted until 1987. The series was relaunched in 2008 with new models, but these are not covered in this overview.
