An Overview of Gertrud Lönegren’s Florens Series

Gertrud Lönegren (1905–1970) designed many classics for the Swedish Rörstrand company. One of the most appreciated series is Florens (Florence) from 1936. It consists of hand-thrown stoneware bowls, dishes, and vases. They have rounded forms, yellow/brown glaze, and block-like relief decors.
