Mona Morales-Schildt – Glass from Kosta

Mona Morales-Schildt (1908–1999) was one of Sweden’s leading glass artists in the 20th century. After her art studies at ”Konstfack” in Stockholm and early work years, she designed for the Kosta glassworks in the 1950s–1970s. Mona was a prominent designer of cased art glass with strong colors and optic effects. Her artistry is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design.
