Hjördis Oldfors (1920–2014) designed many classics for the Swedish Upsala-Ekeby company in the 1950s. One of the most well-known series is Poäng (Point) from 1956. It consists of 14 earthenware bowls, dishes, vases. They have a black glaze and polychrome dot pattern. The items are deep stamped on the lower side with UE, model number, and Hjördis’s mark (”Hj” in a circle). The series was manufactured until 1958. Which of Hjördis’ Poäng objects is your favorite?
