Eugen Trost – Ceramics from Gefle
Eugen Trost (1898–1983) was one of Sweden’s leading ceramic artists in the 20th century. He was part of the Nordic design tradition aiming for more beautiful every day goods for everybody. After his art studies in Germany, Eugen worked for the Gefle factory for more than 40 years. He became a prominent designer of tableware decor, like ”Gyllen”, ”Rubin”, and ”Zebra”. Eugen’s artistry is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design.
