An Overview of Ingrid Atterberg’s Lansett Series

Ingrid Atterberg (1920–2008) designed many classics for the Swedish Upsala-Ekeby company in the 1940s to 1960s. One of the most well-known series is Lansett (Lancet) from 1956. It consists of 12 earthenware objects: bowls, lamp bases, and vases. They have gently swelling shapes, earthy glazes, and leaf pattern reliefs. The items are deep stamped on the lower side with UE, Sweden, Abg, and the model number. The series was manufactured until 1962. Which of Ingrid’s Lansett objects is your favorite?
