Ingrid Atterberg (1920–2008) designed many classics for the Swedish Upsala-Ekeby company in the 1940s to 1960s. One of the most well-known series is Jail from 1959. It consists of 14 earthenware bowls and vases. They have geometric forms, blue color scheme, and rough surface. The items are deep stamped on the lower side with UE, Sweden, Abg, and the model number. The series was manufactured until 1967. Which of Ingrid’s Jail objects is your favorite?
