Ingrid Atterberg (1920–2008) designed many classics for the Swedish Upsala-Ekeby company in the 1940s to 1960s. One of the most well-known series is Bohus from 1957. It consists of six earthenware dishes and vases. They have geometric forms, rough textures, and colorful geometric decor. On the lower side, the objects are deep stamped with UE, Sweden, Abg, and the model number.
The Bohus series was manufactured until 1961. It shares models with the Plan and Randa series. Which of Ingrid’s Bohus objects is your favorite?
