An Overview of Gunnar Nylund’s Pil Series

Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997) designed many classics for the Swedish ceramic factory Rörstrand. One of the most well-known series is Pil from the 1960s. It consists of flintware bowls and vases. They have organic forms, glossy red glaze, and stylized leaf pattern.
