An Overview of Ingrid Atterberg’s Pronto Series

Ingrid Atterberg (1920–2008) designed many classics for the Swedish Upsala-Ekeby company in the 1940s to 1960s. One of the most well-known series is Pronto from 1958. It consists of nine earthenware bowls, dishes, and vases. They have brown-white glazes and geometric patterns. The items are deep stamped on the lower side with UE, Sweden, Abg, and the model number.
