Vilhelm Bjerke-Petersen – Ceramic from Rörstrand

Danish-born Vilhelm Bjerke-Petersen (1909–1957) was one of Sweden's distinguished artists of the 20th century. He is mostly known for his modern pottery at the Rörstrand company. An Overview of Vilhelm Bjerke-Petersen's Fasett Series

Vilhelm Bjerke-Petersen designed Fasett (Facet) in 1951 at the Rörstrand company. The flintware series consists of bowls, candleholders, and vases. They have modern forms and purple glaze with hand-painted black details.
