Mari Simmulson (1911–2000) designed many classics for the Swedish Upsala-Ekeby company in the 1950s to 1970s. One of the most well-known series is Sving (Swing) from 1954. It consists of seven earthenware bowls and vases. They have white glazes and green linear decors. The items are deep stamped on the lower side with UE, model number, and Mari’s mark (MS or Maris).
