Ingrid Atterberg (1920–2008) designed many classics for the Swedish Upsala-Ekeby company in the 1940s to 1960s. One of the most well-known series is Spira from 1958. It consists of eight earthenware bowls and vases. They have gently swelling forms, forest green glazes, and incised leaf patterns. The items are deep stamped on the lower side with UE, Sweden, Abg, and the model number. The series was manufactured until 1959. Which of Ingrid’s Spira objects is your favorite?
