Karl Erik Iwar (1920–2006) started his ceramic career at Upsala Ekeby factory at a young age. He then worked for the company between 1936 and 1946. Karl Erik is today most known for his pottery animals from his workshop in Farsta and Åkersberga in 1953–1987. They are made of dark brown earthenware, with modernistic shape, and gently humorous expression. The figurines are partly glazed in earthy tones. Which of Karl Erik's animals is your favorite?
